1. 2026-08-22

   Randall Plus, and the Mac app 1.2.0

   Shipped

   Everything that makes Randall work stays free, with no limits on tasks or contacts. Plus ($4 a month or $30 a year) adds the Mac app, the Watch companion when it ships, three palettes for the desk (Paper, Slate, Moss), and text-message reports once carrier registration is done. Every account that existed today has Plus for a year, on the house. The Mac app updates itself to 1.2.0, which knows about Plus and wears the palettes.

2. 2026-07-30

   Randall recruits from inside: member contacts and the post

   Shipped

   Fellow Randall members can now be your people. Hand someone your member code (Settings holds it), they nominate you, you accept the post from inside your own app, and from then on their misses land in your post, a new tab on every platform, with a knock on your iPhone or Mac when a report arrives. No email address changes hands, nothing flows until you take the job, and resigning always sticks. The consent rules didn't bend for this; they got a second, stricter enforcement path.

   Randall takes the desk: the Mac app

   Shipped

   A native Mac app, free to download. No App Store, no waiting room. A proper window for the full record, plus the menu bar eye: your open count sits at the top of the screen, watching, all day. Runs on macOS 14 and up, Apple silicon and Intel alike, and updates itself in place when new evidence ships. Direct download, straight from the records office.

4. 2026-07-25

   Randall learns manners: consent, opt-out, and the shredder

   Shipped

   Three pieces of paperwork, all overdue. One: contacts now get a proper invitation: nothing is delivered until they accept the post, and declining always sticks (every report carries the resignation link). Two: a password reset flow, because locking you out forever was never the point. Three: account deletion in Settings, the one form Randall processes without commentary. Plus privacy and terms pages that say, in plain language, exactly who hears what. Reports also sweep every ten minutes now, and missed days no longer slip past at midnight.

5. 2026-07-22

   Randall goes universal: the iPad app

   Shipped

   The iOS app now runs properly on iPad. Bigger screens get a sidebar (dashboard, contacts, and the permanent record side by side) and the home-screen widgets install on iPad too. Same tasks, more room to see them.

   Randall moves into your pocket: the iPhone app

   Shipped

   A native iPhone app, with everything: tasks, contacts, the history, and check-ins from anywhere. Home-screen widgets in three sizes keep your open tasks in view, and the app icon wears a badge with the open count, so the number follows you around. That is the point. App Store listing is in the works. The download link lands here the moment it's live.

7. 2026-07-20

   Randall opens for business: the web app

   Shipped

   Live on the web: add a task, name the people who are notified, and let the sweep do the rest. Email and SMS reports; a grace period; report tones; and a history you can read but never edit.
